I'm enourmously happy to share with you this new my newest signing: Greek piano player TANIA GIANNOULI joins Tinka Steinhoff Booking!
Tania Giannouli’s genre-defying music is highly original, lyrical, complex, eclectic and intoxicating. Classically trained and inspired by many traditions and influences, her compositions and interdisciplinary projects span an impressive range of styles, creating a borderless amalgamation of our global reality. Recent collaborations with artists like Sun Mi Hong or Nik Bärtsch tell something about the versatility of the artist. And you should listen to her trio album In Fading Light for example, with Andreas Polyzogopoulos (trumpet) and Kyriakos Tapakis (oud) to get a picture of her compositional work.
Our plans: On 8th June Tania will release a solo album with the significant name "SOLO" on Rattle Records - check out the first released singles on Bandcamp - and if you have some slots left for the autumn, let me know!
Next year we will have some more release surprises for you, I will keep you posted about that.
