# Tingvall Trio's newest release BIRDS hits a nerve with their audiences: They are selling out almost everywhere they play in Germany. Time again to fly in new directions. We're currently planning concerts in Romania, France, The Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland - more invitations will be warmly welcomed. Fly high! 🦜
# Marja Mortensson will release a new Trio album (with Daniel Herskedal and Jakop Janssønn) in Spring 2025! And if you are interested in traditions whatsoever, check out the brand new documentation Beyond Tradition in which she has a major part. It's a Swiss production about the power of natural voices, telling stories from Switzerland, Norway and Georgia. Here's the trailer!

# Daniel Herskedal played a showcase to remember on Womex 23. And I'm happy to tell you that there will be new music very, very soon! Among two other upcomming releases (everything on Edition Records) the next big step will be a solo album in September 2024 - and in January 2025 a new Trio album (with Eyolf Dale and Helge Norbakken) is planned. For the above mentioned movie Beyond Tradition he wrote the title. Listen here to the beautiful new track!
# Tania Giannouli - if you don't know the Greek piano player yet, you have to check her out. As the highly acclaimed Canadian art journalist Donald Brackett just put it in an astonishing essay about her: "Tania Giannouli is a musical meteorite."
